Dear Mr. Pieczonka, I really like your picture that says "Be yourself!" I feel like in today's society, students (especially younger) are being influenced so much by the media; it masks their true identity. I know you picked this picture to show others that you are accepting of all students for who they are and where they come from. This is indeed, an important topic that needs to be addressed in all classes, today and beyond!
Hello all, my name is Eddie Pieczonka and I am student teaching right now at Bay View School in Burlington and ITS GREAT!!! I am also a post-bac as I have my bachelors degree in History/Social Studies. I have one sister who I love dearly and wish she lived closer, her name is Laura and shes the most beautiful thing in the world. I have two loving parents who have supported me throughout my whole education and wish I can return the blessing they have given to me someday. For those of who know me, I am a big kid, I like to joke around and tease. It is important to note that I am an imperfect being, who has constantly failed in every facet of life. I am a Christian who is deeply committed to my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am involved with the organization Invisible Children, which everyone should check out their site, www.invisiblechildren.com, to find out more about what is going in our world besides the reality that we live in. I desire to teach because I want the next generation to be one that seeks peace instead of conflict, one that seeks love instead of hate, one that comes together for the betterment of society instead of self. This is enough about me, peace.
